At the Slaterfield centre

Our community group offers a wide range of activities for all ages and interests

open most days from 10:00 Until 17:00, see below for more details.

Every Monday and Friday we hold a coffee morning from 10:00 where anyone

can come and enjoy a hot drink and a chat with other visitors. From 14:00 we

have our social groups with a variety of board games and indoor sports

available.

Extending into the afternoon on Monday we offer a games room with chess,

draughts, and other board games from scrabble for the intellects to snakes and

ladders for the fun of it. We also offer darts, dominoes and table tennis.

We are also a member of Bolton Manbassadors, a men’s mental health

support group, we have a quiet room available or join in with the fun and

games, mix with other men with lived experience of mental health difficulties

and We also offer I.T. access and support with all your digital needs, come and

surf the internet catch up with friends and family or if necessary, you can

create and update your c.v. and apply for work.

On Tuesday each week, along with our partners from Bolton at Home we offer

the Great Lever Digital Skills and Job. So call in for assistance with or to learn

how to tackle all those digital tasks using a range od devices from phones to

tablets and laptops to Pc’s. we can guide you towards your next employer or

(by appointment) help you create a new improved C.V.

 

Tuesday is also the new day to visit the drop-in UCAN service, provided by our

partners from Bolton at Home this is a one stop shop for assistance with all

things related to your Bolton at Home tenancy.

Every Thursday is the time to meet up for Crafty Corner and Knightingale

Knitters. join us for a range of crafting activities in the Crafty Corner we enjoy

making individual pieces or collaborate for group projects. Sharing the room is

the Knightingale Knitting group creating a range of items with just needles and

wool.

At the Eco Haven (Our Allotment)

From spring to Autumn every day is a busy day, there is always something

waiting to be done, but its not all work there is always time for a cuppa and a

chat with other volunteers or just enjoy the peace and quiet away from the

hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Throught the year we offer a range of activities such as taster sessions, in

association with Bolton Diggers for willow weaving or bee keeping or come and

join us for a community barbecue but places are limited so watch out for the

dates and book early to avoid disappointment.
