Community picnic

Great Lever Connected successfully hosted a lively community picnic with Dialogue Society at Queen’s Park, bringing together people from all walks of life to celebrate unity and friendship.

The event featured delicious food, fun games, and live music, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Guests also enjoyed meaningful conversations and the chance to engage in open dialogue, strengthening the bonds within the local community.

We were honoured by the attendance of Councillor Richard Silvester, whose participation underscored the importance of initiatives that promote inclusion, understanding, and harmony among residents.

Thanks to the dedication of the organising teams, the picnic ran smoothly, and the park was left spotless afterwards.

The day was a true celebration of diversity, demonstrating how simple gatherings can foster genuine connections and lasting community spirit.
